This Contract is subject to English Law and by booking with Unknown Epic you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

Booking

Once the application form has been received from you we will send you a booking form. 

On receiving the booking form you will be required to complete it and return it within 7 days along with the deposit. The deposit for a trip is 50% of the total. 

You will then receive an invoice for the remaining balance before the trip, this must be paid no later than 24 days prior to departure.

 

If the trip is within 28 days of the departure date you will be required to pay the full amount on return of the booking form. 

We reserve the right for whatsoever reason to return the deposit to you and refuse acceptance of your application for booking at any time.

If the balance of the monies due is not paid 24 days prior to departure, we will treat the booking as cancelled and retain the deposit

 

Cancellation

By You

Payment for the adventure is a crucial part of the adventure’s income and contributes to the overall cost of equipment, running costs, staffing, administration etc.,

Deposits are non-refundable.

Cancellation must be in writing and will be subject to the following charges.

28 days before departure – 50% of adventure cost

Less than 28 days – 100% of adventure cost

By Us

It is unlikely that we will have to cancel a trip but we do reserve the right to cancel any trip.

If this does happen you will be offered an alternative trip.

If you can not make the alternative you will be offered a refund.

In event of cancellation we can not accept responsibility for any consequential expenses that you may occur due to the change of date.

 

Insurance

It is essential and the responsibility of the client to have the necessary medical cover, personal accident, loss of belongings & cancellation cover.

If the client does not have the appropriate insurances by the date of the trip we reserve the right to cancel the clients trip and no refund will be offered.

 

Cost

The price of the trip includes equipment, ground transfers, guides, food and drink.

The price of the trip does not include flights, kit list items, clothes or insurance.

The client will be sent a kit list and they will be responsible to bring everything on the kit list. 

If the client does not bring all the items on the kit list we reserve the right to cancel the clients trip and no refund will be offered.

 

 Acceptance of Risk

With any trip there is potential personal risk involved in participating in the adventure. 

The client accepts responsibility for their own actions and consents to the personal risks.

Any behaviour from the client that we believe to be dangerous to themselves or others in the team is at the companies discretion and could result in cancellation without refund of the clients trip.
